Claret, amber colors true..

It was a stay-at-home day today (Thursday). Jim and I went "up the street" to buy a luggage scale so that we won't end up paying luggage surcharges when we fly to Rome at the weekend.

We had lunch at the ex-servicemen's club, (which will be the venue for Grandpa's 80th birthday next July), and then it was up to the hallowed ground of Fir Park, to view and photograph the brick in the wall that Jim got for his 50th from Christine and Alan. The Motherwell Shop was the next stop. All I will say about that is that the Filpi baby will be kitted out in claret and amber, and grandpa's (not great-grandpa's) wallet is considerably lighter (but not thinner for those of you who know and care about such things!)

Some of the Christette's got together in the evening, and a grand time was had by all.
